This page contains key documents relating to Keeping Children Safe in Education. It is a key document published by the Government which all school staff including supply staff and students must read. It forms the basis of our Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures in school.
All staff, whether permanent or not need to understand and know what to do if they are worried about a child. Every member of staff at Seaham Trinity Primary School has received training on implementing the information within KCSIE Part 1 and are kept up to date with all statutory guidance so they have the skills and knowledge to do everything they can to protect children from harm.
For further information, please read the key DFE safeguarding documents below.
