Children line up on the playground, please don’t bring them in! Collect children from class but you will need to wear a mask to enter our school yard to ensure safety of all.
Any queries/problems, please message via class dojo or see a member of staff after school.
Due to the new government guidelines, we can only change reading books once a week. Children will be given their books on a Monday to take home for the week, these books then need to be returned on a Friday morning with their reading diary if they have finished them. They will then be cleaned and new books will be distributed again the following Monday.
Please read with your child at least 3 times a week.
This year, PE days in Year 3 are on a Monday and a Friday. We ask that pupils come into school in their PE kit these days. As we are approaching winter, pupils can wear a tracksuit over the top of their PE kit as we are trying to do our PE lessons outdoors as much as possible. Could you please ensure that your child is wearing SCHOOL PE kit, this consists of a white t-shirt and burgundy or black shorts. Trainers or plimsolls are also required on these days. Children are not allowed to take part in PE lessons wearing jewellery.
In Year 3, we learn to play a musical instrument – the ukulele. Our lesson is on a Thursday afternoon and we have an instructor – Mr Charlton – who comes in to teach us.
Please see our topic web to find out what we are learning about this term.
