Welcome to Year 5W
In 5W this year our Teaching Assistants are Miss Walker and Miss Airey.
P.E days will be on Monday morning and Friday afternoon. Children are to come into school in their PE kit (no football strips) on the morning of their P.E day. They do not need to get changed into uniform afterwards.
Spellings will go home on a Monday, children will be tested on their spellings on a Friday morning.
In year five, we use the homework grids. These need to be completed by the end of term. Children receive Dojo points for every piece of homework completed.
Reading books and reading records will go home on a Monday, they are to be kept at home all week and returned on a Friday, to be sanitised before being placed back on the shelves.

Art – Self-Portraits
Our whole school focus for Art has been Self-Portraits. Each year group has studied a different artist and produced their self-portraits in different ways.

The class had a fantastic day. They took part in Children in Need activities including bingo and drawing their own Pudsy.
