Primary Schools are now required to publish alongside their Performance information a list of their childcare provision making it easier for parents to know what is available.
Seaham Trinity Primary School offers a range of childcare provision which we have listed below:
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs every morning from 8am and is free of charge. We operate a waiting list so if you are interested in your child attending, please contact the school office on 0191 5813047.
Wrap Around Care
We operate a Wrap Around Care facility after school every day until 5.30pm. We do currently have spaces available so if you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please contact the school office on 0191 5813047. There is a charge for this after school care.
After School Clubs
We have a range of After School Clubs:
Coding Club
Mrs Robinson runs our Coding Club on a Monday after school where some of our older children take part in robotics and programming work in preparation for an annual tournament – one which we often have a huge amount of success with!
Gardening Club
Mrs Lee runs our Gardening Club as part of our Wrap Around Care facility every Friday after school. The children enjoy planting and caring for our school grounds.
Eco Club
Mrs Carroll runs Eco Club in the Spring and Summer Terms where the children continue their eco-friendly campaign as we push towards achieving Climate School Status.
Choir
Miss Price, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Bailey oversee our school choir, practising every Tuesday after school preparing the children’s voices to perform at various school and local events, especially our Carol Concerts in the local care homes every December.
Netball
Miss Donaldson works hard with our netballers who perform so well in inter-school competitions every year.
Dancing
Miss Light, Mrs Huntley and Miss Swan work with our Trinity dancers. Over the years, we have had immense success performing in county competitions and showcases.
Football
Miss Stephenson oversees the boys’ football with Miss Donaldson overseeing the girls’. We have had significant success with our football over the years, winning many trophies and awards from our inter school tournaments.
